She began her yoga journey at the tender age of sixteen, when she enrolled on a yoga course with her Mother. This seed of ‘yoga’ grew to fruition whilst she was living in Thailand and she began to practice Hatha yoga daily. As her practice grew, she found an inner peace and self-confidence that she felt compelled to share. Amy eventually totally immersed herself into the ancient practice of yoga. Completing 500 hrs yoga training in India with Guru Mahinder. There she found a new depth and desire to share her knowledge. She now combines her teaching skills with her yogic knowledge to teach both children and adults. Her interests lie in the meditative qualities of movement and yoga’s innate ability to heal and renew both the mind and the body. She aims to have her students leave her classes feeling centred and at peace as well as equipped with the confidence to empower their lives.
