Q: Can you arrange food for a special diet?
A: Our food is Yogic prepared and Vegetarian, with some small amount of dairy, no eggs, no meat, and no fish. If there is a special dietary requirement we will do our best to accommodate but we must be informed prior to booking.
Q: Do I have to be a physically advanced practitioner to join the 300hr course?
A: The course is for committed practitioners of yoga. Yoga is a science and about more than just physical posture. We believe yoga is for everybody. This does NOT mean you have to be physically advanced or able to do advanced poses. However, there are 4 hours of physical practice per day so we suggest that you are in relatively good health and physically fit to cope with this. So if you are ready to go deeper into the science of yoga and learn more you are welcome to apply.
Q: Do I need a laptop or device?
A: It is not essential you bring an electronic device, however, it is useful, we will give you materials electronically to look over and assist you in your learning.
Q: Do I need to be a yoga teacher to join the 300hr yoga teacher training course?
A: You do not necessarily need to be a yoga teacher to join the 300hr training. However, the course is aimed at strengthening teaching techniques. But teaching is a great way to learn and go deeper. So we consider each case individually. Please contact us directly if you have a query.

A: We send out the reading list to students when they join. Start by checking the following:

Q: Do you provide airport transfer?
A: We provide airport pick up one way on arrival at only specified airports. Dabolim airport for Goa location. Gaggal Airport for Dharamshala.
Q: Do you provide course materials?
A: We provide the students with a printed study manual and accompanying study material via online media. We also have a small selection of books in the school which students may borrow. Students must purchase their own notebook, books, pens etc.
Q: Does the school arrange visa?
A: Students are responsible for their own visa. Check the requirements for your country. www.vfsglobal
Q: Does your school provide Yoga Alliance registration?
A: Our school and yoga teacher training courses are Yoga Alliance Registered. On successful completion of the course, you will be eligible for registration with Yoga Alliance or another governing body of your choice. Each individual is responsible for registering themselves. It is very easy and can be done online. Our school does not provide registration for any student.
Q: How many people are the maximum on the course?
A: 28 people fit comfortably in our yoga hall. If we have more students we use another hall for physical practice.
Q: How much yoga experience should I have before I join the 200 hr yoga teacher training course?
A: If you are a committed practitioner of yoga at the beginning of your journey you are welcome. We suggest a minimum of 6 months daily practise before starting the course so that you are prepared. We suggest practising 5 x per week for a minimum of 1 hr. This will prepare you for the 4 hrs daily physical practice the yoga course provides. We consider each case individually so please contact us directly if you feel unsure.
Q: How should I prepare for the course?
A: We suggest a minimum of 6 months of daily practise before starting the course so that you are prepared. We suggest practising 5 x per week for a minimum of 1 hr. This will prepare you for the 4 hrs daily physical practice the yoga course provides. You may also do some light reading around the science of Yoga. But most of all relax and prepare yourself to be open-minded and ready to receive a lot of precious information.
Q: I am a beginner in yoga. Do I have to be an advanced practitioner to join the 200hr course?
A: The course is for committed practitioners of yoga. We believe yoga is for every body. This does NOT mean you have to be physically advanced or able to do advanced poses. However, there are 4 hours of physical practice per day so we suggest that you are in relatively good health and physically fit to cope with this. Q: I am not flexible and can’t do many poses. Can I still attend the course?
A: Yes, yoga is a science and not solely about the flexibility of the body. We teach modification and options for all levels.
Q: I am religious and cannot participate in chanting. What can I do?
A: Yoga is not a religion, however, if you feel uncomfortable with chanting you may meditate or observe.
Q: I don’t want to teach can I still take the course?
A: Yes, you are welcome to join our course if you do not want to teach. Many people take the course to deepen their own practice.
Q: I want to arrive early/stay late. Can I stay in the school’s accommodation?
A: If you want to arrive early or stay late. You need to inform us before hand and we will see if there is room for you in our buildings. If not there are many guesthouses nearby.
Q: If I have an existing injury/condition/ pregnancy can I join the course?
A: Please seek medical advice from a professional before joining the course. Also inform the teachers and director of any conditions that may affect your practice before starting the course. For more advice contact us directly.
Q: Is accommodation and food provided?
A: Accommodation is provided for the entire stay check-in is the day of the opening ceremony of the course. Check out is final day of the course. Food is provided Monday-Friday with breakfast provided on first 2 Saturdays.
Q: Is certification guaranteed on completion of the course?
A: Certification is awarded on the basis of performance, attendance and behaviour throughout the training. As well as completion of the final practical and written exam. If a student does not meet these requirements then they will be awarded a certification of attendance instead of completion.
Q: Is it safe for a solo female traveller?
A: Both Dharamshala and Goa are very safe. There are many female travellers here and locals are kind and helpful. However, we advise that you do not walk alone in the night or in remote areas and dress respectfully, covering knees and shoulders. Stealing is rare but always lock your room and take care of your own possessions.
Q: Is there internet at the school?
A: Yes, there is free Wi-Fi in the main social areas.
Q: Is water provided?
A: We provide an osmosis water filter/ filtered water free of charge to reduce the use of plastic bottles. If this is not available you can purchase water from the shop.
Q: Is your school approved by yoga alliance?
A: Yes, our school is Yoga Alliance Registered and approved.
Q: My English is not good, can I still take the course?
A: The course is taught entirely in English. So it depends on your own confidence in learning in the English language. The course is very practical and teachers are ready to take non- Native English speakers into account, providing guidance where necessary.
Q: What are the criteria to join the 300hr yoga teacher training course?
A: You need to complete a 200hr Yoga teacher training course. Either with us or another registered yoga school.
Q: What if I have to leave the course suddenly before completion?
A: You may complete the missed part of the course within a year free of charge.
Q: What is the accommodation like?
A: Accommodation is simple, clean, with hot shower and toilet ensuite. Within 5 minutes walking distance from our main yoga hall.
Q: What kind of food do you serve?
A: We serve only Yogic prepared vegetarian food. The food provides all the nutrition that you will need during the course.
Q: What language is the course conducted in?
A: The course is conducted totally in English.
Q: What should I bring to teacher training with me?
A: Please bring your own yoga mat, toiletries, towel, yoga clothes, one jumper for cold mornings/evenings, shawl for meditation, one white outfit for meditation, raincoat, notebook, pen, water bottle. Optional: belt/block etc. There are items available for sale close to the yoga school but come prepared there is not always the same choice as you will find in your home town.
For Goa: bring beachwear. For Dharamshala: dress modestly, hiking books/trainers, warm clothes for evenings, umbrella.
Q: What yoga styles are taught in your courses?
A: We teach 200 hours multi-style yoga teacher training which includes Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Therapeutic styles.

Q: Will I be able to teach after completing the course successfully?
A: Yes, on successful completion of the course you will be able to teach Hatha, Vinyasa or Ashtanga yoga. You must be responsible for checking your countries requirements regarding insurance, registration etc.
Q: Will we have days off during the course?
A: Yes, Sundays are free. Saturday afternoons are free also
Q: Your course says Multi-Style, does this me I will be qualified to teach all of the styles or just 1?
A: After successful completion of the course you will be able to teach Hatha, Vinyasa or Ashtanga yoga.
